About this collection:

Based upon the Magic Seals embedded in the Dead Sea Scrolls, the five elegantly designed patterns evoke the authenticity and mystery of the past while exuding a remarkably modern style: The perfect mix of antiquity, romance and contemporary charm. Each pattern is based upon a particular Archangel's magic seal and has a history of connections with the planets, elements, days of the week and correspondences in the Kabbalah and Chakras' systems.

The ancients viewed the angels as personifications of the Divine, believing that connection with one's Archangel would bring life enrichment and vitalization. Today we are honored to bring to you the mystery of the archangel seals as a reminder that the oldest of traditions, the breaking of bread, is, at its core, a sacred event.

This archangel dinnerware porcelin is produced by Pickard, manufacturers of the custom dinnerware gracing Air Force One and U.S. Embassy tables around the world.

"CHINA DOLL: Mary Ann Thompson-Frenk's sculptures adorn the homes and offices of art collectors; now, her fans can dish it out!:













Her Archangel Dinnerware Collection features five patterns inspired by The Dead Sea Scrolls. The designs materialized when Thompson-Frenk noticed the spiritual connection her clients had with her artwork. "I thought,'What can I make for the everyday person?' recalls Thompson-Frenk, "and one of the oldest traditions is breaking bread." With that in mind, she got to work in her Dallas studio, designing the collection, as well as 'Tea for One', a Victorian style tea set with a small tea pot, a tea cup and saucer from the Archangel Collection, accompanied by a selection of Mighty Leaf Teas. The set is elegantly packaged in a decadent red satin lined box."
